Top-notch Recipe For French Toast

– 4 large egg – 1 cup whole milk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 tablespoon sugar – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 8 slices of thick-cut bread (such as brioche or challah) – Butter for cooking


In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt until thoroughly combined.  


Dip each slice of bread into the custard mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated. 


Heat a griddle or a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a pat of butter and let it melt, ensuring the surface is evenly coated. 


Place the soaked bread slices on the preheated griddle or skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
