Homemade Hamburger Recipe

– 1 pound ground beef (80% lean) – Salt and pepper to taste – 4 hamburger bun – 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice) – Lettuce leave – Tomato slice – Red onion slice – Pickle – Optional: Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise – Olive oil (for cooking)

Ingredients:

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, you can add a small amount of olive oil to prevent sticking.

1.

Divide the ground beef into four equal portions. Gently shape each portion into a patty, being careful not to overwork the meat.

2.

Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for approximately 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness, adjusting the time based on your preferred level of doneness.

3.

While the patties are cooking, cut the hamburger buns in half. Toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

4.

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf. Add the cooked patty with melted cheese on top.

5.

Place the top half of the bun on the toppings to complete the burgers.
